The 9th Philippine Linguistics Congress (2006) aims to focus on the most current advances in the study of Philippine languages, and in the application of linguistic theory to anthropology, sociology, psychology, language planning, translation and language education in the Philippines.

Abstracts for both paper and poster presentations are accepted. Abstracts may be in Filipino or in English, and should be no longer than two (2) pages, data and references included.

Along with the abstract, please send a separate page indicating:
1. Paper Title;
2. Name(s) of Author(s) and Affiliation;
3. Contact details (full postal address, telephone / cellphone number, and e-mail address) through which notification of acceptance or rejection shall be made.

Abstracts should be sent electronically to ling@kssp.upd.edu.ph, on or before 10 November 2005.
