Demographic Research and Development Foundation, Inc.
The Demographic Research and Development Foundation, Inc. (DRDF)
is a non-profit, non-stock private organization established in 1983 by
the faculty of the UPPI to promote, develop, undertake, and enhance population
and development research, training, and other related activities.
It is also a repository of national and subnational datasets on population and reproductive health studies (PopArchive).
Vision/Mission To be a Center of Excellence in demographic and population research and training in Asia and the Pacific region. It operates within the core tenet of achieving excellence in contributing to human development in support of the nation's goals and aspiration.
The DRDF's main functions:
Training
Conducts regular trainings for practitioners in government and non-governmental agencies in the integration of demographic issues in development planning;
Research
Conducts researches and studies significant for policy development and program management purposes;
Dissemination
Serves as a focal point for the dissemination of knowledge in the population field.
