Admission Requirements
 
To qualify for a program, a student must have completed a baccalaureate degree from a recognized college or university with a General Weighted Average of 2.0 (or its equivalent) or better. Computer literacy and a good background in the Social Sciences, Mathematics, or Statistics are additional requirements for applicants to a program.
 
The applicant must pass the Admission Test given by the institute.
 
 
         Applicants shall submit the
         following documents:
 
  Letter of intent addressed to the
      Dean of College of Social Sciences
      and Philosophy, UP Diliman
  Two Accomplished Application Forms
  Two Accomplished Recommendation
      Forms (in sealed envelopes)
  Certified True Copy of
      Transcript of Records
  Two 2x2 colored pictures

Fellowship Program
 
The UPPI offers a limited number of slots in its Fellowship Program funded by the UPPI Scholarship Fund and the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. The Fellowship covers tuition, a monthly stipend, and book allowance.
 
Applicants for the Fellowship must satisfy admission requirements and obtain a good rating in the Admission Test. He/she should be under 35 years of age, of good moral character, and should display a high level of interest and intention to work in a population-related field upon completion of training.
 
The successful MA Demo applicant is required to take PLAN A, the thesis option.
