Conversations and discourses lie at the heart of any academic community. The Talastasan (Dialogue) Series is but an extension of this spirit of critical academic discourse so integral to any community of scholars. This undertaking is intended to provide nurturing dialogical environment for both the faculty and students of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP). The weekly dialog series also serves as venue for faculty members to present and share their most recent research studies. The main idea is to allow for more of these academic conversations to take place within the Social Sciences that would eventually build and strengthen that community. CSSP, however, is inviting faculty members from other colleges to participate in the series of lectures in hopes to draw up different perspectives from different fields and expertise.
